The holiday season is almost upon us again and while I’m not a giant advocate for crazy wild spending, I do love to give people gifts I know they’ll love. Because I know how hard it can be to find great gifts for people I thought I’d share this list of twelve awesome stocking fillers for people who love to travel and are enthusiastic about nature.

⭐️ Everything in this MexicoCassie list is a perfect stocking stuffer for people who love to travel. These great travel gifts are the travel accessories people wish for but often don’t buy for themselves. ⭐️

🎄 Swiss Army Knife – every good traveler should have a knife like this. Just remind your traveler to remove it from their hand luggage when they fly. No one can resist taking out all the blades and feeling like a real explorer! Trust me on this!

🎄 Portable Power Bank
– because, let’s face it, on long bus rides or when sitting in airports for hours, we’re all on our phones forever, right? And we all know phone batteries don’t last forever, right? This handy little fella can charge more than one item at a time, which I love. Be sure that your loved one will be thanking you over and over for this trusty little device.

🎄 Air Tags – I became a total Air Tag convert when moving all my worldly goods across continents. I now wouldn’t travel without them. Air tags mean always knowing where your luggage is; even if it’s lost, with an air tag at least you know where it’s lost! It’s a Christmas gift that just keeps on giving!

🎄 Electric Luggage Scale – One of the most useful pieces of equipment a travel obsessed person can own these days. As airlines get stricter, it’s imperative to know how much your bag weighs. I love mine.

🎄 Regular luggage tags – Even with Air Tags we still need to be able to identify our luggage when traveling,  so why not get the traveler in your life some cute tags? I love the memories mine conjure up of the people who gave them to me.

🎄 Glocal Me Wifi – not cheap but extremely useful for people who travel a lot, especially if they have to work. We love having wifi wherever we are.

🎄 Travel wallet – An RFID-blocking travel wallet is super useful for people constantly on the move as it prevents credit and debit cards from being cloned. I love this one because it can be worn hidden against your chest. Sometimes sensible gifts are the ones people are the most grateful for!

🎄 Resuable cutlery – I always travel with my pack of reusable cutlery and have had the same set for almost ten years now – what a great gift for the planet.

🎄 Yeti Travel Mug – Yes, there are cheaper versions on the market but these are just SO good to drink from and they really do keep drinks hot/cold as promised.

🎄 Travel Wine Set – I don’t own this but I wish I did! It’s way cooler than an old-school hip flask and comes with two matching wine tumbles. Stocking-WIN.

🎄 Sleep Mask – Traveling is amazing, obviously, but sleeping in new beds can be tricky – a luxurious eye mask can go a long way to helping the traveler in your life feel comfortable and get a good night’s sleep as they set off on their next awesome adventure.

🎄 Being Present, a guided journal to help you fully live each day by Karla Veytia – a fabulous book about intentionality and living in the moment. I think this is invaluable for any traveller (I have a copy and love it)

🎄 Travel Journal

– where else to write all those fascinating stories they will have to share with you when they get home?

🎄 The Persistence of Yellow

by Monique Duval – a perfect book of short, thoughtful and witty poems and vignettes. My favourite and perfection for opening up on a plane or bus or when sitting in a coffee shop.

🎄
Sudoku / Wordsearch or Brain Teasers – Something to while away the long hours in airports or waiting for buses.

Added bonus! Don’t forget to buy everyone and anyone a copy of my book to help them get the most out of their trip to Yucatán.

I hope this list of great stocking stuffers for people who love to travel gave you some ideas of what to get for the people you love this year. Another fun option is to find great Mexico-related gifts for the Mexico-obsessed people in your life. While some of these gifts can work for kids too, my adventurous kids helped me to create a great list of gifts for outdoor kids that may well come in super handy.

Happy Holidays!
