How to get to the Cenotes around Mérida

🚘 Without a car it can be difficult to visit the cenotes around Mérida on your own. It is technically possible to visit some cenotes with public transport but it’s much easier to hire a car or take a tour.

OH! This was a great tour! The tour director, Carlos, was great fun and provided a perfect English and Spanish dialect in stellar fashion. I was amazed by the ruins and even got to climb to the top and see it all from above. The cenotes were beautiful, and we had plenty of time to experience all 3 that were so different from each other and equally as fascinating. Swimming in caves is just so amazing, a spiritual feeling really. I’d give it ten stars if I had the option. I’ll do it again. (March 2023)

Absolutely would recommend this tour. Loved that it was a private tour for just our family so we could go at our own pace. The tour to the Cenotes was beautiful and not packed with tourists so you get to take in the beauty. Snacks and drinks were provided. Would highly recommend Gabriel we absolutely loved him and booked another trip a day later with him to go visit Chitzen Itza.
