merida scavenger hunt

Are you looking for a way to explore Merida without hearing too much moaning or whining from your kids as you march them around the city? Do you really wish they’d engage so you could enjoy a day or two exploring? If you’re looking for a way to enthuse kids for their visit to Merida, how about livening things up a little with a sort of exploration scavenger hunt? Or maybe you live here and quite fancy seeing the city through fresh eyes.

If you’re after a more traditional article about how to enjoy Merida, then my super detailed ‘what to do in Merida‘ article is probably perfect for you.

Notes For Enjoying The Merida Scavenger Hunt

  • Do this at your own speed. You can also pick and choose which questions you want your kids (or you) to answer.
  • If you want to, you can drop me a note through the form at the bottom of the article and I’ll send you the answer sheet.
  • Why not offer your kids a prize of a delicious ice-cream at Pola or Pipi Cucu as a prize for taking part / (ahem) bribe.
  • I’d love it if you tag me in any Instagram photos you put up (@mexicocassie), use the hashtag #meridascavengerhunt or join my facebook group, ‘Families exploring Mexico’ and add some photos of you guys having fun with the scavenger hunt.

This is such a great idea to involve kids! I think I’m going to have to steal this idea of scavenger hunts for kids when on holidays in future. The art in your “Art in Merida article that this scavenger hunt leads to is incredible and vibrant. Looks like a lovely city, and you can’t go wrong with an ice-cream prize. Thanks for sharing!
